Looks to me that Gates won the poll. One vote for Paseo, two for Hwy 40 and one other for 103rd and State Line. I will call tomorrow and see what I can find out. Unless I get others that want to change it to 103rd and State Line Rd. I'll go ahead and make arangements for the Hwy 40 location.

I called Gates on Hwy 40 yesterday and was told I needed to call back today. Seems the person I needed to talk to did not work yesterday and will be in this morning.

Where is this location? I am planning to go. Will have to drive the Explorer. Don't have overdrive in '70 yet.

Post #11 on the 1st page of this thread has a link to Map Quest with the location. You can zoom in and out to help you get there.

Cool! Another Exploder. I'll have my green 1994.

I talked with Mrs. King at Gates on Hwy 40 Wednesday. She said the private room is available. It is reserved for us between Noon and 3:00 PM. We can stay inside longer than that if we want but they will open the room up for others after that. She also said we could have a section of the parking lot to park our trucks together and display the banner.

Let me know what you think.

I added a few pic's of the stuff I have to give away at: http://ww.mappyjack.com/MCGTG.htm I plan to give folks a raffle ticket with the packets. Looks like the packets will be a Koozie, FTE sticker, FTE pin or Ford key chain, you've been spotted cards, and the raffle ticket. We'll draw a ticket and if you have the other part with that number you get your choice from the prize table. I'd like to do the prize drawing after folks eat. So if folks run a bit late they won't miss out. Don't want to wait till the last minute and have folks have to leave and miss out either. I was thinking about doing the drawing at 1:30 PM.

Let me know what you think. Give me a head count on who will be there. I'll call and get a menu tomorrow. Should have pic's of the dash plaques also.

I want to get up there a bit early and get the banner up. I want to set up for a sign in sheet and hand out the packets (Koozies with stuff in them).

More pic's up at the link above. The dash plaques came out really well.

This is the list I have so far:

Brett - brettmcox
Ryan - FghtinIrshNvrDie
Rob - coyboywanabe
Larry - Ozark Ford 1970
Tyler - MXcowboy244 ??
Todd - 6L PWR ??
Jeff - Undertakr ??
James - Blue 50 F1 ??
Bill - Subford

I called on the menu and it's pretty muck as listed on the web site at: http://www.gatesbbq.com/menu.html Prices range from about $5 to $9 for sandwiches. The mixed plate is over $10 ($12 something I think) and I was told feeds 2. Sides are seperate but you can sub for fry's if they come with you meal.

Sorry I have been a bit slow the last week and a half. I've had a bad cold. Hope to be over it for this weekend but it's not looking good.

I have the stuff boxed up and I'm headed out to get "Green" (my 94 Explorer) washed. Then load up and I'm ready to head out tomorrow morning.
