all Front lighting ground Size ?

I am working on my 77 front clip and wany to replace all front bulb sockets and wires on the core support. My question is. If I increase the size of the ground wire will it make the lights any brighter or will it cause problems by increasing the size of the ground? i want to make the lights brighter and make sure they have a good ground. The size of the old ground looks really thin and i just want to fix it now before I put it all back together and have problems with the ground later.

Thanks

Making it larger will not hurt a thing. You may notice a slight difference if there was a problem, but if the power wires are undersized, then making the ground will not have a significant affect. It's a circuit, and if the flow is restricted anywhere, it affects the whole thing.

A lot of people have been doing the relay conversion to their headlights, and say they notice a big difference in brightness. I think there is an ariticle in the tech section about it.
