49 F2 ignition problem
I am trying to get my F2 started, and I am not getting spark. I checked the points first and no spark there. I then went to the coil, and I have no power to the coil. I have power at the solenoid and voltage regulator. What do I look for now?

Is this still 6 volt? If so, you need to look for the coil - wire (positive ground correct?)at the ignition switch. If you want to hot wire it to see if it will run, run piece of wire from the battery negative to the coil - and see if it will start.
