for u guys with the floor shifter are u guys using the hurst mastershift or some other modle and/or maker i have not found

Check with autozone. They have a (mr. gasket I think) truck floor shifter for around 40$ that works well, and has a long shifter... It fits my '62 well.

Hi.
I have a 63 F100 and just installed a Hurst Indy Truck shifter. Purchased it from Jegs for about 75 dollars. It is made for trucks and has a little bit longer shifter. Took a few evenings to install. Works fine. I saw the master shifter as well but almost 200 dollars is out of my budget. I did notice while walking around at the Carlisle Ford Nationals a bunch of old transmissions for sale with these types of shifters already installed.
