One of my brother-in-laws spent 20 years in 101st. Retired as E-9 in '98. He was a crew chief on Blackhawks. Last 3 years was in the 60th Spec Ops. He still lives in Clarksville. Did 8 years in Germany and was in Desert Storm. He helped put back together the C-119 they have at the museum. Wonder if you knew him?

 

Probably not, but if your brother-in-law raises livestock in that area, there's a good chance he knows my father-in-law. He runs a very busy feed mill in Pembroke and knows everybody in that area. I'm from Florida, live in South Carolina, and visit my in-laws in Kentucky...good folks up there...

lots of people in and out of there. Closest I got to crew chiefs would be when I got a ride flying over them.
