In desperate need of a pair of fender brackets for my 64. Thease brackets bolt to the fire wall and the inner fenders bolt to them.
I have been looking for quite a long time with no luck, hard to find rust free parts in the northeast.
Thanks Bill
If you are refering to the small L-bracket that mounts the upper part of the inner fender, you can fabricate this from flat bar stock. I will draw you up a pattern when I get home and post it for you.
Thanks that would be great. I am new to this where do I find the post?
Thanks again I am ready to put the front end back together and thease brackets are holding everything up.
I drew up a rough drawing in Cad tonight but I can't upload it unless its a GIF or JPG image. Sorry. IF you want, I can email you the file if you have access to a CAD program.
Thanks for the effort, sorry I do not have cad. I have one of the original brackets left that I can use as a pattern. I had talked to my body man before about making a set, which he says he can do. I was hoping to find a pair of original or a good junk pair. This part, like good core supports, seem almost impossible to find. It would seem like somone would make a after market part.
Looks like the best way to go is to have them made.
Thanks for your time and trouble, Bill
