"The Beast" has no muffler, it is just a cat, 3 inch pipe and a 4 inch tip. It is fairly quiet under 2000 rpm, but growls pretty good when you step on it. I used to have a Suburban with an Aero Turbine muffler that was even louder. It bothers me some to not have ANY muffler, and since the Aero Turbine was loud, I took a chance and ordered and Aero Turbine with resonator. The company rep said it is 7db quieter with the resonator. You can by them seperate or together. You save about 50 bucks if you order the resonator version, instead of an add-on. I should get it next week and by next Saturday will let you know how it turns out. All I really want is the old glasspack backfire sound when you let off of the gas! I am not really thrilled with being loud ALL the time.

Reason: spelling error in Title
One neighbor has a V-10 with a Flowmaster, the neighbor on the other side has an older F250 that is fairly loud also. I don't gun it in the neighborhood.
Aero-Turbine was too loud for me. Switched to a Straight Thru Magnaflow. Much better sound and can now hear the radio. You can check it out in my gallery.
I havge the Aero turbine with the resonator but I can't find a place to get it welded on. My truck is too wide and long, they said. Heck it's only 8x22!
