Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me out with the data plate info on my baby, such as what did they call the nice blue color paint, where was it assembled and any other stuff like that. Here's the info:
F10CK558537
128 V F100 281 A 11
She's a great truck and I wouldn't sell it for anything. I'll post some pics when I get her spiffied up nice, have the original powerplant in top form, new Goodyears, shocks, etc..

Hey! thanks a million.. appreciate that.
Oh, I didn't post that stuff cause I figured it didn't really mean much...
The "2" might be trim package? It has two chrome strips running the length of the truck with a red stripe down the middle... kinda spiffy.

It's a nice blue, and seems to darken on cold mornings for some reason. I'm the second owner, the farmer who bought it didn't even spring for a radio although it did have a CB and a Muntz four-track when I bought it. No windshield washer squirter, no seat belts, Armstrong P/S and three on the tree.
Is it a standard 9" rear end? Posi? It seems to get through the snow and mud really well for a two wheel drive. Changed the fluid in the rear end, man that stuff really smelled gnarly, looked like it could use it. The glove box has the owners manual (really well written compared to today's 43 pages of legalese CYA b/s) and a State Park camping permit for $2.50 dated from the 1960's and a Fireman's Free Parking card.
5000=Max Gross Vehicle Weight
135 3800= 135 hp @ 3800 rpms
52=DSO=Cleveland, not Boston as I earlier posted.
The 11 in the earlier post is the axle code, not the DSO code; I forgot I was on the first, not the last line of the plate info.
An axle code of 11 is a standard 9" Ford rear. Check the axle tag for the specific ratio. We can decipher it here if you need help with it.
Sorry, I forgot to ask one more thing: is yours a Custom Cab? If so, and it sounds like it may be with that trim on the side, then the code of 2 81 may very well be the custom cab code.
81A is Custom Cab (fully enclosed)
81B is Standard Cab (fully enclosed).
Nah, it's pretty much a bare bones truck -- no "custom" script on the side or anything like that. What's the DSO mean? Is that a special order thing? I appreciate the help, thanks a lot.
The tag on the rear end is kind of hard to read, it looks like the only thing stamped on it is maybe "FD 302", if anything it seems like the truck is geared pretty low.
