The Super Cooler radiators was a Ford option and will bolt right up to the original mounting flanges with no modifications what so ever. You will however have to change your shroud as the Super Coolers is a four row and thus thicker. You will probably also have to change your fan spacer so that the fan will fit half in and half out of the shroud for maximum efficiency. You can still buy these radiators from the larger radiator shops and other vendors of 70s Ford parts. I bought one a few years ago for my 78 Bronco, from a radiator shop, it was identical to the original Ford one in my 79 F 250.
is it worth the money??? cuz I am now driving a truck with a 3 speed manual and 302, so without the internal or even external trans cooler, the engine should run cooler now too, right???? (I mean cooler than my other with 302/C4) I dont plan on towing much with it, or hauling, its mostly my daily driver/ street rod, but I do live near a busy city area, where there a lot of soplights and some heavy traffic at times, and would love to take it to ocean city, which is 3 hours from my house with no traffic, 6 when its a weekend, and will a fan shroud help me???

There was a Standard rad (2 core) an Extra cooling rad (3 core) & an Super cooling rad (4 core) available in these 70's trucks.
Seems to me there are two different -looking- radiators.
My father-in-law's '74 460 Camper Special has the big-bruser you can spot from the top and then there's mine that's a 4 core that looks like the 2 or 3 core.
