Multi Chapter GTG

I was thinking about a KC GTG and inviting Nebraska, Missouri, and Iowa to join in.

And we could even do the same down South with Oklahoma, and maybe Missouri, and Arkansas.

Anyone in for this? Say October?

You gotta give me a time and place, but I'll always try. If it's ahead enough in advance, I can turn down other plans.

KC area for the North GTG. Time is up to everyone. For the South one it's a little more flexable depending on who is in.

Maybe in conjunction with a trip to ks Rocks? Maybe a Camping-cookout kinda thing? Don't know where every one else lives or is willing to drive to, but that would be fun.

I like the idea, for maore then one reason, I am moving to Omaha at the end of this year. I still would like to stay a member of the great state of Kansas, since this is my home. We will be making the move as soon as my work season is complete, and my new job in the local union is established. It's only 2 hours away so I will be back for visits. All my family and friends are here. I know no one in Nebraska.

depends on the date, I have races on some weekends but would enjoy getting together again since we didn't have the national rally this year. Probably just bring the expy or maybe the F250 though unless there happens to be a mud drag in the area around that time.

Most months we had the NE GTG the first Saturday and the Wichita GTG the second Saturday of the month. But through out some dates. I see no problem with two dates. One for KC and another one for a south GTG. I'd like to see this in October. November has Thanksgiving then Christmas in December. So October would give us time to plan and be our best bet I think.

we've got some missouri boys interested. Like I said, give us a date ahead of time. You just gotta pick one, and people will come.

"If you pick it, they will come."

I think the quote's a little off, but I tried.

I think the quote you where looking for: You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friends nose...

or maybe not?

I think it would be a fun option for something different. It would also be a good chance to meet folks from neighboring states.

First full weekend in October is the 7th and 8th for the KC GTG. Second full weekend in October is the 14th and 15th for the south GTG. I can put a poll up for those dates and see if Saturday or Sunday works best for folks. Anyone like to add other dates to the poll.

Some more ideas I'd like to kick around. I will have some dash plaques made for this and will have packets for all who attend. Trying to get packet items now and I'd also like to have some prizes to give away at a drawing.

If any of the other CL's or members would like add to this please do. We could even have a design contest for a logo for this event.

We'll be going to Wilburton OK for the week of Oct. 16-22 for a fall festival and car show at Robber's Cave State Park, so that'll knock me out of this one. Can't afford to make 2 in a row.
