Hi ya everyone! I am new here, a gal and I am looking for help with my F150 4X4 '02 5.4L XTR SC, 95000km. There seems to be no power, rpm running high for the speed. The front of the truck was shuttering as I was excelling up a hill, service engine light came on and off for a few minutes and the engine was surging/rpm gauge when stopped, in idle. A lot of snapping sounds when shut off, more than normal. Could this be something to do with the fuel ingection system, my mileage is not great, about 16mpg. Would you advise not to drive it until it is checked out?

The shuddering, check engine light, and rpm's all sound like a COP (Coil On Plug) or a spark plug went out. There's actually a "Read this first" in this forum about COP's, it is in red and at the top of the thread list.
Your best bet is to have your codes read from a parts store (preferable, free) or a dealership (usually costs money) and posting the codes that you get here.
