I have read many posts on how to correct the Service engine light. I am in the process of going through the steps. The code reader showed it to be the right front 02 sensor I have cleaned the MAF sensor so far. My question is how fast should I expect the light to go out once I find the problem?

First thing is there is no code 170 for Ford.
Get the correct code and begin with the correct code discription.
Use another reader to be sure your not being misled.
Do not rely soley on the discription in a reader unless you are famuliar with the code meanings.
