I have been seeing that Sirius radio is advertising that tey will be carrying NASCAR for 2007. Being an XM radio listener, does that mean that hey both will be carrying it or will XM drop out?
I wish nascar would pick a way of broadcasting, and stick with it... I don't have the cable channels they show half of the races on. I also don't have a satellite radio.

It's all about the mighty dollar. Which ever company, be it Fox, FX, NBC, bids to televise the race. NASCAR will then sign a contract with particular company for so many races. Now that NBC has the race coverage, you should be able to watch most of the races. What heats me up is the poor coverage that Fox and FX has. You miss so much of the race because of commercials. At least NBC will cut from a commercial if something happens on the track. Hopefully ESPN will get it right when they start televising some races in 07...
I'm a radio listener of NASCAR, too. MRN does a pretty good job giving the play by play of the race, and you sort of feel that they are closer to the action than the announcers up in the TV booth. The exceptions are the Craftsman Truck Series races on Speed. I catch every one of those on TV, because the announcers and pit crews do a real good job covering the truck races.
