wire location/TC Lockup

2002 4X4 CC. I have the dfuser exhaust brake/TC lockup. I'm having a heck of a time. All my mods have gone smooth till now. The instructions say the gray module closest to front of engine, tap into the purple with yellow trace. Well there looks like theres 3 purple with yellow trace. Even a friend could not decide which one looked right. Does anyone have a module and pin no. Ohh, I did look in Buick Turbos gallery and it looks like he has three and I have four modules.
I don't know why my letters slanted either. See what I mean! Can I just indiscriminatley start taking wires to ground on that module till my TC locks? only 3 wires but scary. Sorry for the book and thanks for the help.

Mark:
Look again; my o2 has FIVE connectors down there, 2 are grey. Do not start grounding the wires out indiscriminately. Call Bill at DFuzer. He will tiell you that Ford changes the wiring from year to year, and the instructions on his web site are wrong - at least for my 02. He will give you new instructions; be sure to follow them; there are purple(violet) with yellow trace wires all over the place. I went through all this last week; a 10 minute job turned into 2 half days of frustration. The bottom line instructions are not bad; tap into a line running over the top of the tranny from passenger side to driver side. It is violet with yellow trace, but be careful. Very nearby is another wire the same color.
My switch now works just fine.

Warren, I want to thank you! I just came in from looking again when I found your note. I swear nothing looks like anything posted and I thought I was going stupid (no wise cracks). Anyway I'll call and get the lowdown, You saved my sanity.

Mark, you're welcome. I checked your signature; we are both headed down the same mod path except for the lift and large tires. I guess you might need them; I don't recall anything 50 miles west of Phoenix except rocks.

Warren, rocks and river bottoms 50 miles west! Plus Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station which is where I'm employed. We own 30 acres just south of the Grand Canyon and getting in there is rough when it rains and snows. Not to mention I've always wanted a lifted truck since High School (maybe a mid-life crises thing) I got er now. We tow a 21 foot toy hauler with a couple of 4X4 quads. Your right though on the similarities we have. I want a Jody tune but had the predator prior. Are you in Phoenix I didn't get much from your profile. Tell you what, PM me in response to this so we don't use this room with stuff nobody cares about and before I get in trouble!
