Beach Driving
Hello all. I have been looking for a 95-98 F250 CrewCab 4x4 to use on the beach. I have seen a few but have also stumbled on several nice F350s (not duallies). Does anyone know how a F350 would perform on the beach? Would it be to heavy? How big a difference is there in gas milage between F250 and 350 with the 7.3L diesel?

I have friends that have the f350 4x4 and don't have any problems with it being to heavy. But they are like me and have big and wide tires on theirs. I'm not for sure but i don't think the f350 srw is any heavier than the f250 Just different spring for the payload. But if I'm wrong someone else will chime in. We my wife and I love to play in the sand on the beach. We have more fun doing that than offroading.
