Quiet SD

is there anyway you can describe how much quieter it is? or should i say....it is defintly worth the effort?
you looked like you did a professional type job, for the sound system performance also? because i don't want to go through all that, could i just throw in some dynamat, patch up where i can, and still make a considerable difference in the sound inside the cab?
and what is the best sound deadener to use? i read what you used, but i can't tell if you use stuff for optimal stereo performance or what, i am just wanting it to be quieter in the cab.
thank you.

I'm doing mine for both sound and general ride enjoyment.
Yes you can do substantially less than I am and still get good results.
If I had to pick one area to do I would have to say its the doors. Start My CC ate 12(int) 8 (surface) mat each for each front door
8(int) 6 (surface) mat each rear door
2 gallons of spectrum sludge (easy and big difference)
2 sheets of overkill (interior and suface side)
That will do really good coverage of the doors and make the most difference by itself.
As far as products to use I am definitely partial, but I'll lay out what I found when I researched prior to starting.
Best Quality/Performance
Second Skin both in product availability and customer support from Anthony
Value/Performance RAAMat from RAAM audio.
Dynamat is good stuff but it was more expensive and does not perform as well as SS in MHO.
As far as how much to do I heard it best described akin to building a dam. At first you don't see much difference until you start really slowing the flow of water then its plugging the remaining leaks.
If you have any other questions I'll be happy to answer what I can.
