Going to add stop leak

I have had this oil leak that runs down the dust cover but does not drip. It happened when I replaced the oil pan( yes I used a new gasket) It seems to run down the dust cover, When the truck is not running. Maybe the oil pan is full with the enigne having the oil go back into the pan. It is out of the rubber piece on the back of the oil pan. I have got fed up and don't like the oil running off the cover So I am going to add this stuff I bought at Autozone(Oil stop leak or double your money back) It is a thin liquid not a grease like viscocity. I'll give it a try I have to drain out 1/2 a qt so it is not over. The motor runs GREAT otherwise not other leaks/seepage. I hop this stuff swells the rear rubber oil pan part up enough to stop it. I think it will because it is not a serious leak does not even drip
PS now hopefully I can run moble 1 and not have leaks I want to make this motor last.

you need to use some gasket sealer in a couple of places on that rear part of the one piece oil pan gasket. did you do that?

i think you are wasting your time using stop leak.

keep the reciept.
