The tan color is starting to come off of the steering wheel on my '01 F-150 XLT. I'd like to get a cover for it before the wheel deteriorates any further. Does anyone know of a good OEM-looking cover for our trucks? Not looking for a thick padded thing, just something durable.
I used these on both my 89 SHO and on my wire's 98 Contour. I used a baseball stitch and the result is very professional look. Time-consuming to pull all that thread through, but the results are worth it.
To do the baseball stitch requires an extra spool of thread and an extra needle. The distributor I bought mine from included them at no charge upon request.
