carb problem
I have a holley 750 vac. sec on my 302 I have a mild cam, headers, and a edelbrock performer rpm intake. The carb has .70 jets and a 28 squirter what happens is when I floor it it will give me a little backfire and then takes off just on pop. What can cause this problem smaller jets or squirter the spring in the sec. is pretty stiff so it dosent open very easy.

That carb is quite large for that engine, and will give driveability issues. You'd be better off with a 600cfm carb.
For the time being, try a larger accelerator pump, or a different pump cam to give more of a shot.

Make sure that there isn't a cheater screw in the secondary linkage slot. This will cause a bad hesitation. A larger squirter may help. Also make sure that the timing is correct and that the vacuum advance is working. It should be hooked to the port on the metering block near the choke.
