Trasfer Case Problems
i have a 91 bronco 5.8 and up until recently i havent had any kind of problems with the 4x4. a week or so ago i was in a little mud and high range just wasnt getting me there. so i put it in low and after i unstuck myself i took it back out of 4wd. now when i push the low range button nothing happens. it will shift into high range fine but low range does nothing...is this a common problem or what? is it possible for the motor to "halfway" go out....help please

You did not mention if your punched into 4H, were stopped, shifted to Neutral and pushed the 4L button. If you did and it is still not working there are many threads on the electric shift motor. Try Forums then Search from the menu above for lots of info. You may just need to try shifting several times to free the motor.
