the sound you get is more like a 2 stroke detroit marine diesel then a v8. just the v10 3 valve has it's own tune problems that req. a system with back pressure to over come them. idle speed is one item i could not over come. it went from 650 to almost double nearing 1200. .that went right back down with the baffled and stock system back on. even mpg's fell off big time. and performance fell on it's tail to that of a v6 f150.
for the guys who are thinking mbrp. please check the other thread labled mbrp and the customer relations man jeffs input. mbrp is a very top notch company who have major pride in thier product and are working with me to correct the problems of the 3 valve motor..
mean time guys. hefting all the weight of installing and removeing exhaust systems on and off, esp the stock system. i blew out my back the rest of the way. so i'm being fixed up on tuesday, and hope to be back home in about 7 or 8 days after the surgery if my legs are working ok by then. lots of p.t. around the corner.
thanks for the prayers ahead guys . my personal best to all of the v10 gang.
work with mbrp guys they are great people
