I did do it myself. Not hard. I believe I have some pics and basic instructions in my link below (A Pic is Worth A 1000 Words). I will go look and do some updating if needed.

The gauges are Di-Pricol. The pod and gauges I got from http://www.dieselpowerproducts.com/ford

The owner of that site, I have known for several years and he has done work on 2 of my trucks - and always did right by me.

On Edit. I realize I will need to add some photos with instructions. I will try to post them tomorrow w/some tag instructions.

Hey Chief ! That link for the wheel did not work for me? Sent me to wikipedia?? Kind of looks like we did simular bling to our dash! The wheel install is pretty easy! I used a air chisel with a pointed bit to pop off the Wheel ! quicker than a a puller! THE NUMBER ONE THING THOUGH IS DISCONNECT YER BATTERY OR YOU MIGHT BE WEARING THAT AIRBAG!!you just need to put in your cruise switches and tiewrap some of the wires!

Worked earlier, but now you have to copy and paste into the address line for it to come up. Must be the usual FTE - can't get there from here.

Copy and paste will work.

I did use a steering wheel puller to take mine off, and yes!

Very first thing you do before you start this project is disconnect both batteries and turn your headlights on for 10 minutes. Let all electricity drain from the truck so you don't deploy the airbag when unbolting it.

I'll be looking forward to any pics of the installation you might have. I will order the steering wheel this week. I know the air bag system have capacitors that store energy for the airbag in case of an accident where the power is lost, so I will be sure to disconnect and wait before removing the airbag. Then it is a matter of unbolting, and rebolting it? sounds fairly simple. I guess the two access holes are in the back of the steering wheel? They remove the airbag, then after the airbag is off, you have access to the main bolt for the wheel? Thanks....... I am looking forward to this new steering wheel.

[QUOTE=Turfscape LLC]American Stitches is the WORST company I have ever dealt with! Avoid them unless you are willing to have such a crappy job done that you essentially lose your steering wheel. Their customer service is horrific. I can't say enough bad things about them.

Read this thread for a fuller view of the story. I am re-Markable LSC on that board.[QUOTE/]

An update. I ordered the steering wheel from "stwheel" and I got it in 2 days. Beautiful wheel in new leather and American Walnut wood. Took me only 45 minutes to install it. I can't figure how to insert a picture here, but I have it posted in my gallery. Thanks for the tips. I love this new wheel!!!
