Hello- I'm new on the forum-been lurking-and need some help. I'm putting an '86 F-150 3 sp+OD trans behind a '51 flathead. 4.11 gears in the rear, 15 x 2.15 tires. Went to the dealer for a gear to put on the trans end of the cable and they said I needed to know the gear color or # of teeth. Does anyone have a X-over chart for the 4.11 and the 3.55 ratios? Or have that combo apart and can check the color?
Thanks in advance.

Don't know the color, but the 4.11 should have 86% of the teeth that the 3.55 uses.
3.55 divided by 4.11 equals .8637
So, using an arbitrary number, say the speedo drive gear for the 3.55 has 20 teeth, the 4.11 would require 86% of twenty, or 17 teeth. (closest whole number.)
