steering gearbox part numbers for the E-150 and F-150 are the same
Yes the part #'s are the same for the steering box's but their part #'s are different for the pitman arms. The same you think, Same box same spline?
Check out the pic's of my van on here. And you will see why I need this bad.
Thanks

Awesome *** van! How does it ride with that lift? If the steering boxes are the same I say the splines would have to be the same but I don't know for sure. The reason for different P-arm part #'s could be different lengths or something.

Yes, different length. Why didn't I think of that? (DOH!)
Now for the ride...... Its rides well, all except the bump steering. I will get a good tast of the ride in the morning on my way to work. I have only takin it up to about 50 mph. At that sped it seems safe. So I will probrobly keep it there until I can get it in to the dealership and have it aligned. After the pitman arm of course.
Now does anyone have a 4 to 6 inch drop pitman arm for a f series truck? (85 to 96)
Keep um up
