Anyone have experience w/ them? I just bought a set of 285x75x16's for my 01 F150, the suspension isnt sagging at all, but i do use it for loads once in a while. My question is will the super spring adjustable that i keep reading about lift the trucks stock ride height at all? If not, aside from a block, is there any cheap way to get an inch or two out of the rear leaf pack? Thanks for any info.
Ok, if no one knows anything about the super springs, then does anyone know of any kind of simple add a leaf to hold more load and get me an inch or two lift?
I added a 900 pound add a leaf spring into my spring pack. it was farly simple and it gave me about 1.5 inches of lift. Made a big diff when hauling heavy loads. Also allowed me to crank my torsion bars up to level the truck and gave it a good looking stance. I got my spring kit from Davenport Spring.
Davenport springs? Got a link, i tried to find them on the net but didnt come up w/ anything, does anyone else know of a helper spring made for the f150 (2001) that will lift it an inch or 2?
I too had one spring added. I went to a place that handles repairs and other stuff for springs. I made the connection by talking with someone at a local school garage for where they send their buses for repairs. For $190.00 they added one spring per side which gives me another 900lbs and gets rid of the sag when I haul something heavy. It also lifted it up about 1.5 - 2 inches.
