1965 ford econoline van
A friend of mine is selling his 1965 ford econoline heavy duty van. He has no idea what he wants to put on it as a price tag, and I'm very interested in buying it. However, he wants me to suggest a price. I don't want to ask too little because he is a good friend of mine, however, i don't want to get too pricy. Any suggestions? It has very little body rust, it looks good underneath. It is a 240 straight six with a three on the tree. The interior is a **** carpet, and it ran 4 years ago when he stored it. Any advice on what i should double check before making an offer?

Try looking at Hemings http://www.hemmings.com/ or Trader Online http://www.traderonline.com/ they may have some to compare with. I had one for a few years back in the early 70's just like it. It was a great van but didn't handle worth a darn. Good Luck!!
