C6 Tranny Leaking
My c6 tranny is leakin it looks like from the converter i just changed the filter and gasket on it and emptied the converter and filled it back up. It leaks pretty fast the bolt to the converter i think is as tight as it can be because the converter turns when i try to tighten it any further. is there a spec for the lbs of torgue to use. Somebody please help me the tranny is hooked up to a 390 FE in a 61 F100.

Sounds like the plug is not in tight? Be sure you didn't cross thread it! Then block the flexplate/starter ring gear with a flat pry bar to keep the convertor from turning and tighten the plug. Double check the pan gasket sometimes they are tough to get resealed. Usually pan gaskets leak because someone over tightened the bolts and distorted the pan.
