Unhappy I'm Resisting buying.

In Delisle there is a 85 250 for sale as a parts truck. The box is gone and the left fender is gone. The cab is rusted out. Good parts is the hood right fender, front bumper the 16 inch tires with still good tread.
It still runs and drives. with a 300 6 4spd standard. Oh good windsheild. The guy would not give me a price he said make him an offer. It was tempting for that motor and trans. He sounded like he would let it go cheap. He is tired of working on it and gave up fixing the body. That is why the box and fender are gone. No Dana rearend.
If any of you want the truck email me and I will get you his name and number for you.

GLEN

Don`t resist too long, you`re only beating yourself up and you know you`ll buy it soon or later. Might as well be sooner, offer him the $100 and drag it home.

Yep it is, sorry for getting off topic. You can still find alot of 73-86 trucks out there in better shape for 50-300 dollars that all come with all different sizes of motors. So why bother with a truck like this when for a few more dollars you can get so much more. Sure if you could use a 300 motor go for it.

Whats the matter with a 300 I rather like them. Good hard working engines that are hard to kill and also can be your engine for daily driving. They put those 300 in the big farm trucks for hauling your grain. They are a good motor.

I didn't say I hate 300's I have 3 soon to be 4 of them going strong. I just meant theres everything out there big or small for a very very reasonable price.

With newwer vehicles out there, there are good running vehicles with a acceptable body.

No it is not a 4x4. It was a white truck with red interior. It maybe gone now. I have not been there. If it wasa 4x4 I think I could of found some way to get it.

$500 and under is/was my range too, guess we`ll have to up it as these deals are getting hard to find. When there is something for $500 it`s so beat that it`s not worth bothering with.
