oil additives
Im planning on doing my first oil change on my truck but im wondering how effective any oil additives will help out. I will be using delo 15-40 and a fleetguard filter. I currently got the same set up on my big rig (n14 cummins) and i put power punch in the rig and it runs like a champ and alot of the rigs hauling lumber and logs up the pacific coast recommended it but im wondering if it will work as good in a smaller engine and transmission? Any input would be appreciated and i have done a search on oil additives but not alot of help!

I'm a firm believer in Slik50. From the first time I used in my 1985 E-150 (351, 4-bbl), I've used it in everything. My lawn tractors, cars, everything that uses oil. My current E-350 TD got it @15k and 55k; I'll treat it again at about 90k; it's got ~78k now. Use at you're own risk, but I've been satisified for over 20 years.
