Cool Warning!!!

If you make it to Perry Ga.and need to get some parts for your truck.I would not use the Advance Auto Parts Store here.
WHY you ask?It startrd yesterday when I went to get a set of sparkplugs{6}.First they didn't have the ones I wanted.Autolite double platium. So I got the signal platium ones, no big deal.Payed my bill and came home.I let the truck set over night so it would not be to hot to work on.Left the plugs in the truck.Went to change them and only had 5 pluges{dumby me for not checking before leaveing the store}again no big deal, changed the 5 that I had and got the recite{SP}and go back to the store to get my plug.Went in there is a young boy behind the counter, show him my recite he looked it up on the computer it said they had 10 in stock he went back and counted what he had in the store, you guessed it 10.He came back and said that he would sell me another plug, that I had got 6 plugs.I told him that I got 5 plugs and was not buying another plug.He said that he would not give me a plug because I lost 1.WTF!!!I said the plugs where in my truck all night and when I went to put them in that there where only 5 plugs. He said I'll sell you a plug but I can't give you one{even though I had payed for it.}I said I need to see a manager ,hs said he was one.HAHA 20 years old at the most, with NO people skills what so ever.
Now I have been useing this store for over 15 years with no problems till now,Like I told him "I will NEVER buy anything in that store again."I left the store and went across the street to the NAPA store and got my sparkplug.
Sorry about the RANT, just thought I would warn ya'll about the Advance parts store here in Perry.

I appreciated your rant. Tks.
I too like NAPA. Just performed a brake job on my buddies F-350 towtruck, and they had all the parts right there in stock. I expected the pads to be in stock, but the caliper and rotor assembly's as well, really impressed me. Not to mention that; I brought with me several minutes worth of questions, that we went thru one by one.
I like to stick with what I am most comfortable with. And after reading your post, I know that I need not venture out of my comfort zone for curiosity. I guess I can be confident that I chose the right parts store to take my hard earned dollar to. Again Thank You.....

Oh no. I am not taking it that way at all. I have been to a Napa store in San Diego that it was all I had not to go flying over the counter and expressing my feelings. I am simply saying that; I understand what you are going thru. And because of that; I will stick with what is working for me. Just coincident that is it at Napa.

Thanks for the warning Greyranger. A few of the wrong people can mess up a good parts store.

Call and find a number for the area supervisor. I had to do that at Autozone when one of their managers raised his voice at my six year old son and would not let him use their restroom. He almost got a mouth full of the A/c compressor I was exchanging. I got a $ 25 gift card for my trouble.
