61 econoline van
Does anyone here know how to decode the vin number for a 61 econoline van? I have tried all sites that I could think of and they all say that the vin is too old for them to do. I'm trying to sell it and I thought that the more info that I could get the better. In case any of you can, the vin is E10SH128307. Anyone?

S = 6 cyl 144 cid
H = Assembly plant code = Loraine
1xxxxx = 61 (2xxxxx = 62)
By the way, the only other piece of useful information from the warranty plate which you need the books to decode is the rear axle ratio. 01 = 3.50, and 2 = 4.00. They only came with 3 speeds.
