I absolutely agree that school should be at the top of your list of priorities. Maybe wait until you are for sure about what you're feeling. I definately disagree that money is the best cologne...
The good ones don't care how much $$$ you make. And if you lure one in because of the size of your paycheck, don't be surprised if you end up in a messy divorce and losing half of everything and maybe more ofwhat you worked so hard for to the b@#$ch, because those are the types of women that are attracted to money. And they never change.

I'm hoping Greg said that in jest.

I doubt that the Great Lakes Maritime Acadamy is loaded with women but they will be all around during the summer

This is a variation on one of my primary motto's. I'm going to die regretting some of the things I've done, but I refuse to die regretting the things I didn't do, or chances I didn't take.

Meet her in person, look her square in the eye, and tell her directly how you feel.

Tell her if she doesnt start dating you in a serious relationship, you'll take her mom out to a romantic sea food dinner, and NEVER call her back.

Just tell her how you feel so you dont waste time!

Yes, the musk oil line was in jest. Note the redneck smiley at the end of the sentence...

I was not jesting about getting the education first though. Having long distance relationships while getting a education is not always a positive force to a young persons life. At that age the cost of driving home every weekend to see her/him, the LD phone calls, the worrying about what she/he is doing when he/she is away, are all negative issues that are distractions from staying focused on their getting the best education possible. As most of us OF's know , the percentage of successful serious romances at 19-25 years old are LOW. A result of too many hormones, too many distractions, not enough life experiences under their belts yet, and from just NOT knowing what they want from life yet ....

He will have many years after he graduates to get a mate. For the young ones reading this , take it from a old fart that is still having to drag his wrinkled old butt out of bed at 5am to go to work. GET THE EDUCATION FIRST, make the money and start investing it from your first paycheck and do not stray from that investment plan EVER for the next 35 years of your life. . Retire early and get up at 5 am to go get a tee or the best fishing spot !!!

What's really frightening is that I actually did something similiar to that once.

Pardon??
I'm gonna venture a guess and say what you probably meant was women are capable of being much more nasty and evil, than men could ever be, right?

If so, I concur.

No. THIS is what I mean.

The FBI had an opening for an assassin. After all the background checks, interviews, and testing were done there were 3 finalists. Two men and a woman.

For the final test, the FBI agents took one of the men to a large metal door and handed him a gun.

"We must know that you will follow your instructions no matter what the circumstances. Inside the room you will find your wife sitting in a chair. Kill Her!

The man said, "You can't be serious, I could never shoot my wife." The agent said, "Then you're not the right man for this job. Take your wife and go home."

The second man was given the same instructions. He took the gun and went into the room. All was quiet for about 5 minutes. The man came out with tears in his eyes, "I tried, but I can't kill my wife."

The agent said, "You don't have what it takes. Take your wife and go home."

Finally, it was the woman's turn. She was given the same instructions, to kill her husband. She took the gun and went into the room. Shots were heard, one after another. They heard screaming, crashing, banging on the walls. After a few minutes, all was quiet. The door opened slowly and there stood the woman. She wiped the sweat from her brow.

"This gun is loaded with blanks" she said. "I had to beat him to death with the chair."

MORAL of the story: Women are evil. Don't mess with them

I believe you and I are definately on the same page. You just described exactly what I said about women's capabilities. Maybe you were joking, maybe you were serious, either way... I concur!!!
