I want to get a light bar for my 95 F150 but don't feel like spending 100+ for a few peices of metal that I could probable make for less than half. Anyone out there make their own light bar?? If so post some pictures and list what you used.

Thanks.
Sure. I used a couple of gutter clamps (google "quick-n-easy") and wet sanded them until they looked like brushed aluminum . From the surplus metal yard I used about a 6 foot section of 1 by 3 aluminum "tube"-even though it's a rectangle, and wet sanded this to match. You could powder coat at home just as easy. (35 bucks, couple sheets of wet sandpaper and a couple of hours or so)
Ran the wires up through the third brake light on the back of the cab. Put the plastic brake light bezel on a piece of aluminum for a template and made a replacement insert-drilled a few holes for all the wires-and moved the third brake light up on the bar. You could also cover the ends of the "tube" with yellow driving lights or make them directionals....You'll be styling.....CB whip antenna also fits here.
I should have put a lighted FORD emblem up there too-didn't think of it.
I was going to make one this summer but never got around to it. Actually, it's a complicated piece. It includes a headache rack, a light bar on top, and angle iron that goes down the length of the top of the bed sides, with removable supports that would bolt on across, so I can easily install and remove a crane that was going to be part of the project.
