He just completed a training class and all he knows about the motor is its turbo configuration? You may need *another* new dealer.

LMAO! i sure hope not. if that thing is twin turbo. now you''ll be replacing two instead of one. i need to buy stock in that turbo manufacturer. as they will be selling like hot cakes
I ask him about the twin turbo,he said it's not gonna be a twin t. i didnt ask him anything else about the twin turbo.and as far as changein my turbo he said a lot of the 05 and early 06 have the turbo problem, the one he's going to put in has a small gap between the fin's and the shell so the pressure is realsed that way i guess?but i trust this guy, will see if it works out.
you're gonna loose a lot of boost doing that. Ford says the rattle is normal. I bet I could make any 6.0 do it. Just ease out of the throttle under high boost conditions to avoid it. Letting off the throttle rapidly gives the boost no where to go (no wastegate) so it escapes past the turbo and flaps the Variable Vanes.

Mine does it routinely (bone stock - no tunes for me!) I don't like the noise, but, if it kills a turbo, they can replace it. I've got 3.5 years and 70K miles left before I have to be concerned.
