The cowl, is the thing with the slits up between the window and the hood. The radio antenna attaches to it.
It will match the bodylines fine, it's just the newer ones instead of "slits" they have little holes instead. Presumably to prevent leaves and crap from falling into the ductworks.
The washer nozels are different. The newer cowl has two, instead of the one like on our trucks.
Other than that it will fit fine.
The hood itself is 1980 to 1986 pickup or bronco only, unless you swapped complete front clips. That consists of Fenders, hood, radiator support grille and front bumper. Then 1980 to 1996 will work.
