Unhappy Front Fender Studs Different Threads???

I was hanging the fender on the wall (one I aint mounted yet) and noticed the top stud is 5/16-24, not 5/16-18 like the other two. Give me a Break! Did I do what I think I did? Did I cross thread (ruin) the top stud of the fender I mounted this weekend? Boys, Im scared to look. Talk about taking the steam out of my momentum... It seemed to go on ok...snug (duh) like the other two...and never gave way so I never even gave it a second look...until 30 mins ago. Pull the shop door down and came in here to whine. Sorry, but Mrs. 'Nilla60 doesnt want to hear it.

Ya'll ever noticed the thread difference?

Those studs appear to be removeable/replaceable. Where do you buy that kind of hardware? Any guesses?

I didn't notice that when I tore my '60 down. What stud (not bolt?) are you talking about? Maybe the PO did it.

I noticed on my 54 tonner that the radiator cradle welded nuts on one side are sae and on the other side are uss thread, neither side appears to have been stripped or repaired. Ain't Fords fun to work on?

Im leaving the nut on for now...but its bugging me...

The one I think I messed up is the top stud...closest to the windshield. I just cant understand why they mixed and matched the threads. Its bound to get 'screwed up'. Thanks for the replys.
