My daughter and I are restoring a 65 Ford Fl00. We have replaced all the wiring harnesses under the hood along with blinker switch, headlight switch and dimmer switch. When we put on the blinkers or headlights and parking lights including dash lights, they all blink. If we turn off headlights and parking lights, dash lights still blink when signal light is turned on in either direction. Truck has 4-way flashers that seem to work well. Can anybody help? Daughter would like to drive before the body rusts again!
I had a similar problem when I started working on my 65' F-250. Try running a ground wire from your driver's side tailight, to the frame. Hope this helps.
make sure all the ground straps are in place from the batt to the block and body, the block to the frame, the engine to the firewall, and from the frame to the bed.
