Fellas, I have a question about my turn signals the front signals would not work, I went to the library and pulled a copy of a wiring diagram for the instrument panel on the dash..
Aftr going through everyting my right turn signal is working in the front now but, not the left,, the diagram shows that there should be an orange wire for the left signal and there is no orange wire for anything...
My question is can I splice the right turn signal and make it work that way?
Also, my turn signal handle is broken ; I rigged it to work when I put my finger in the column and turn it on manually...
Can I hook up a toggle switch to the right turn signal to make both of them work correctly...
As always any suggestions would be appreciated!!!
Ray
Did you check for corrosion in the connectors near the bulbs, or a bad ground? Sometimes they go bad. Also an orange wire is normally for the gas gauge sending unit. Plus changing out the signal switch is a really easy job. Most places still carry the whole set up. Check the online store. I'll look at my wiring diagrahm that I got from FTE to see if there is something else to look for.
