http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...3ARTQ%3AUS%3A1 what you guys think? reserve at 1500. im gonna have him take some more pics of it, but i thought id see what you guys thought. a 351c is just a regular small block bolt pattern right?
well yes a 351 cleveland is a smallblock bellhousing, and even uses windsor motor mounts but thats not a cleveland, or I should say I would take bets and give odds that it's not a cleveland. Same engine family but it's most likely a 351m which uses the big block bellhousing, and motor mounts that are specific to that and the 400 only. Also the cleveland was never put into the bronco atleast in the US, and was discontinued in the us after 1974 but a 78 bronco very well most likely did come from the factory with a 351M
well, i guess either way i would be ok with it. Is it worth 1500$? kbb doesnt go back that far, so im not sure. I think its a good deal, but im not to sure.
$1500 seems alright for that condition. Too much more and I'd have to say you were paying too much. In order to fall under "good deal" it'd have to be under $1000, at least for me.
well, around here that seems like a deal. all the decent vehicles have gone down to huricane victims, so im still having to go 180 mile north to find this one.

*The engine is a 351 Michigan NOT 351 Cleveland, sorry for the wrong infomation.*
I never heard of that one.
Yes alot of them were made in Michigan, but still.

All in all, it looks to be in decent shape, but I'd want to drive it way before I'd put $1,500 down for it.
I see them come and go all the time on ebay, and they look good and tempting, but don't hold your breath.
It does look good though and could very well be worth the full price, but wait till the end of the auction to see what it goes for, if no one meets the reserve, then you might be able to get it cheaper, or they'll go crazy on there and it'll go for $3k.
The M does stand for Modified, b/c it was modified from the original 400 block, and to tell the difference between the 351C(cleveland) and 351W(winsor). All have the letter they represent.
