Driveline Lube?
I attempted to grease the splines on my 04' PSD but could not get the drive shaft to drop from the rear dif. It took 30 minutes just to get the bolts loosened enough to turn. I have the flange plate. Do I have to jack the truck some way to drop the drive shaft? Need help. Thanks.

The drive shaft yoke fits tightly on the rear axle pinion flange pilot. Make sure you mark the drive shaft for correct indexing. Do not hammer the circular flange, you can use a pry bar in the slots on opposite sides. Ford recommends replacing the bolts, tighten to 76 lb-ft for circular flange, split pin yoke is 26 ft-lb
