Thank you for the info on the starter. I bought this pickup for $800.
It is in pretty good shape. It has very little rust. The body is perfectly straight except where someone installed a 2nd gas tank behind the bed and cut a nice size hole on the bed. when it runs it sounds very good. everything works good. Unfortunatly someone did a lousy job installing a stereo. It looks like someone took the jaws of life to the dash. Right now I haven't decided if I am going to restore it to factory condition or make a street rod out of it. Probably something in between. I am very excited about this truck. This website has given me a lot of useful information.
