Need Help Identifying a Gun

I'm having trouble identifying a gun I bought at the gun show today. It seems it's a Marlin .22 long rifle. It has an ~10 shot bottom loading magazine. It doesn't have a serial number, otherwise I'd give it to y'all. Needless to say, it's a semi-automatic.

I did some googling, but came up with no results. Anyone have any websites that summarize all of the Marlin semi-auto .22's? I'll post digital camera pictures when my mom returns from the lake.

Here's a link to everything you ever wanted to know about Marlin and some things you don't care to know.
http://www.marlinowners.com/board/

Ask over there , if they don't know, it isn't a Marlin.

just the kind of thing I was looking for Flash.

Carl, does that have a forum feature, or is it an index driven kind of thing... or something else?

I need a new bolt for it, and possibly a new magazine. The current magazine puts waaay too much pressure on the cartridges, and it forces them into the action, clogging it. Anyway... Anyone who may know offhand would be a big help, otherwise I'll have to get serious and hunker down & do research.

You can trim the mag spring, though that could lead to other issues if trimmed too much. Sounds like the magazine lips are deformed and letting the cartridge ride too high as well.

That could be a Glenfield rifle, I believe they were sold by Sears years ago. Check out Numrich Arms for parts:

Well, the reason I'm inclined to think it's a Marlin is because on the barrel, it says, "Marlin..."

Yes, that would be a rather clear indicator.

Its a old one for sure. I haven't seen one like it since the late 60s. A friend of mine had one like it. I don't know the model numbers though.
