I'm having trouble identifying a gun I bought at the gun show today. It seems it's a Marlin .22 long rifle. It has an ~10 shot bottom loading magazine. It doesn't have a serial number, otherwise I'd give it to y'all. Needless to say, it's a semi-automatic.
I did some googling, but came up with no results. Anyone have any websites that summarize all of the Marlin semi-auto .22's? I'll post digital camera pictures when my mom returns from the lake.
ryan, it's just a buy and sell site. but i've done lots of $$ research there, as i can see what i'm selling and what it is worth to the market compared to what i have

I need a new bolt for it, and possibly a new magazine. The current magazine puts waaay too much pressure on the cartridges, and it forces them into the action, clogging it. Anyway... Anyone who may know offhand would be a big help, otherwise I'll have to get serious and hunker down & do research.

You can trim the mag spring, though that could lead to other issues if trimmed too much. Sounds like the magazine lips are deformed and letting the cartridge ride too high as well.
That could be a Glenfield rifle, I believe they were sold by Sears years ago. Check out Numrich Arms for parts:
