1990 one ton with 7.3 diesel. how much oil does it hold?

To answer your question, somewhere in the neighborhood of 4 gallons. The diesel forum would probably be a better place to check. Sorry I can't be more specific.

10qts, with standard filter, 11 with psd filter. assuming its the 7.3 IDI not powerstroke, i'm not sure if they are the same or not in the capacity

Thanks! As you can see I'm not very up on the workings of a truck and no better on cars. But I do love my two Ford trucks (1995 1\2 ton and the diesel)
