knock, knock
My truck overheated and blew the upper radiator hose. After I fixed the hose, and filled it back up, I started it and now it has a bad knock. How would it overheating cause it to knock? Has anyone seen this before?

it probably melted a piston ring or threw a bearing. happens
can you isolate the knock. take a broom stick to the engine block and listen thru the other end while the motor is running ( watch the fan and other moving parts) the stick will act as a stethescope. whats your oil pressure at,
