Front end troubles
I have a humming noise coming from the front end. The noise is consistant when turning. I mostly hear the humming at speeds above 30. The closest that I can describe the noise to, is that it sounds like I have off road tires on it.
I was hoping that it was the front brakes, possibly a warped rotor. However, after installation of new rotors and pads the sound is still present.
While the truck was on the lift, I did notice that the front passenger tire had a difficult time making a full rotation without significant resistance every quarter turn.
That makes me think that the problem is the hub/bearing, or a bad cv axle.
Before I start ripping everything apart, I want to consult with other ford owners.
Thank you for any help,
Brandon
