How to paint an engine

I'm looking for a good explination of how to paint an engine. i have it completely clean right now and am wanting a nice paint job on it that will last.

engine painting

Por15 Engine paint KIT.....wash engine down (degrease) grind block imperfections....acid etch....Por15 paint as base....and top coat with Por engine color......

ive always had good luck degreasing the engine well, brake cleaning it off, then painting it with du pont 550 temp engine paint. One time when the block was in really dirty shape i had it baked. the paint usualy stays on very well, i have a block i painted 8 years ago looks like i did it yesterday.
