A car question
I was looking through the baargain hunter tonight and came across a 66 Mercury Montcalm with an S 33 sport package. I have never heard of that. Anyways it has a 390 in it and he is only asking $850.00 might go have a look at it and see what it is like. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Saw one on the web here at some site a while back of one that was a convertable. It was for sale and was done up nicely too.
There is not many of those cars around. Becareful someone has not just stuck on the S33 logals. These cars have not much for any fancy trim. Check the web for pics and what they look like and maybe how to check its numbers to be sure. Otherwise it is a steal at that price. I wonder how much cancer has gotten to it.

I talked to them last night but they are going away for the weekend so I will have to wait awhile longer. He mentioned alot of things about the car when I was talking to him last night but he never mentioned rust, so it might be all right.
