Totally off topic

I know this is off topic, but you guys are truly a family to me. My dad just had to go to the emergency room. He's bounced in and out for the last few months. He's in need of a liver transplant. He started having pretty bad pains about 30 minutes ago...so as soon as my mom got home we (my mom and I, much to dad's displeasure) decided an emergency room visit was in order. Just can't take any chances. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Thanks for reading. Have a good evening everyone.

You made the right decision not to take chances. Hopefully your Dad is feeling better as you read this. Great strides have been made in liver transplantation and we here all wish him a full recovery.

Thank you Dono.

Last time I talked to my mom she said he was going to stay at least tonight, they're waiting on the liver doctor right now.

Wow, dunno what to say. Ive never had to deal with something like this. My grandpa (we call him pops) has some lung problems but that came on slowly and im not really close to him.

But I really hope your dad gets through it. Hopefully its nothing too serious.

Zach, I just said a prayre for your dad, and your whole family, were all here for you. I wish your dad all the best. My dad just had a stroke awhile back, it was a scarey time, but the Lord seen us through it, he will your family as well, just keep the faith.

Thanks again guys.

Latest update, they've got the IV out and let him eat, but we haven't heard from the doctor yet about the CT and sonagram (sp?).

He's home and all is well. Back to going outside constantly and he's headed to work tommorow. Turned out to be a kidney stone.

Zach, sorry to hear your facing troubled and what I call challenging times, but what has always comforted me is realizing that everything in life always works out for the better. And in the end, somehow, it really does. Hang in there . I won't hijack this thread (common ranger forum thing/issue/problem in more recent months) but it's all in the hands of the "man above". If you feel the need to talk with someone, I can arrange to talk to you. Also, I didn't read what was posed after your initial post; me bad.

***BTW, things of a NON tech/and Ford Ranger specific issue would best be posted in general conversation non-auto as it's not really a tech thread. More visability that way. Save this forum for tech stuff .
