I see on sgi a riding mower that has little damage. It is a Husqvarna model 125. The seat was ripped off. It is in N.B. and starts at 250.00 I wish they had what year it is. It is not the old. I remeber seeing them in stores not that long ago. Wonder how much to put down for.
Saw that van went for $600 something. If the motor was still good someone got a good motor.
They have a 94 truck with minor damage that only needs mech inspection. The back left corner of the box is damaged.
So what do you guys think. I'm really considering this.
Phone and see if they know what is wrong with it and other details such as type of motor and year etc, and then make a bid accorrdingly. They are usually very helpfull when I have phoned to inquire about stuff.
I did that this morn. It also has a broken axle. Cannot see it in the picture. They still did not know what year. I know from looking at it that I saw that style in the stores only a few years ago. I put a bid on it. Part of me feels I bid too much, another part not enough.
Went to Turtleford today. Stopped and had a look at the mower. The axle is not broken. The differential housing was all cracked apart. Get another housing and it can be put together. It is in good clean condition. Just have to get another housing if I win the bid.
While there they had a 97 ford 250 with a 7.3 deisel. The truck damage was to the hood and left fender and door. The truck was solid, but how many K's on it was unknown. It was not up for bids. They had a cost of 3500 on it. The sgi at N.B. is nice. They write the prices on the car and also some of the issues with the car. So you do not have to go in all the time and ask questions. They had a nice 91 5th ave there. No accident damge. Wonder what was wrong and found the engine smoked.
Oh well will see if I get mower tomorrow.
If the housing is cracked be carefull how much you bid on it. Good idea to see how much it costs and if you can even get one. Lambert Electric in Saskatoon has a large amount of law & garden equipment parts.
At times SGI will let items go for less than the posted price. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
I would loike to bid on some of the SGI items but mam oh man I don't need another thing to fix in my life now or in the future. Seems like some okay deals sometimes.
I shouldn't even surf there
I did not get it. The winning bid was $100 + than my bid. It needs a new trans housing for the other was all busted up and that will be a couple hundred. Oh well. I need a new fridge my one here is going on the fritz.
