actualy question i just thought of. My trucks a 1980 ford with a 351w c6 auto trans 4.11 gears. It originaly had a 302 with a standard trans. the c6 was out of a 84 f 250 with 3.50 gears. is there anyway to figure out the proper modulator to have in this?
A good one. The adjustable is for shift points but I've never got one to work. You'll probably have to get one for the truck it came out of.
I know you have tried just about everything except that you say you have to really put your foot in it to get it to kick down, right? I'm thinking your kickdown rod is binding somewere, not returning all the way, or the set screw is way back to far to kick it in right.
